Marc Files Designating Petitions!

The first step in getting on the ballot as a candidate for City Court Judge is collecting petition signatures.

In order to qualify as a candidate, we must collect signatures from at least 5% of the registered voters from a particular party. We were able to do that on three different lines: the Democratic Party, the Working Families Party, and the Conservative Party.

Yesterday we filed our completed petitions with an overwhelming amount of support from registered voters.

Thank you to committee members from the City of Troy Democratic Committee, the Working Families Party, and several members of the Conservative Party for volunteering to collect signatures. It really is a total team effort and could not have happened without them.

Onto the Primary Election June 28th!

Pictured below is City Court Judge Anne Von Fricken Coonrad turning in our joint petition to the Board of Elections.

Unfortunately Marc made plans half a year ago that put him out of the state yesterday. But here’s a photo of him and his son receiving the good news.
